Ceremonies at Hackney Town Hall

The Lanchester Suite

A recently renovated wood panelled room that can hold up to 40 guests plus the couple. Ideal for both small, intimate ceremonies as well as slightly larger celebrations.

On weekdays we offer simple ceremonies and at weekends you can choose to personalise your ceremony and include readings and/or personal vows.

The fee includes use of the room, attending registrars and one marriage certificate.

Weekday ceremonies are simple ceremonies with no separate interviews or entrances before the ceremony and no additional content such as readings allowed.

Saturday ceremonies have a choice of  2 scripts within which you can add up to 2 readings (or the option to write your own vows if you opt to have one reading), an entrance and the opportunity to bring your own music.

  • all ceremonies must be paid for in full at the time of booking
  • all ceremony fees include a non-refundable booking fee of £50
  • fees for cancellations made with less than 21 days’ notice are non-refundable
  • by returning the booking form you agreeing to the terms and conditions of our rescheduling, cancellation and refund policy
