Short stay parking charges

Short stay parking charges are changing from 3 April 2023.

Blue badge parking concessions still remain in place and are not affected.

The prices are per hour.

In line with the price changes, we are also removing over 200 pay and display machines across the borough where there is little or no demand for them. Visitors will have the option of paying via the RingGo app or telephone. Motorists who may need to pay with coins are still catered for where possible. There is a boroughwide network of PayPoint terminals in local businesses.

Car park parking charges

Car park parking charges are changing in all our car parks from 28 April 2023.

Blue badge parking concessions still remain in place and are not affected.

The prices are per hour.

In line with the price changes, we will remove all day parking. We will instead introduce a maximum stay of 4 hours – except in Gillett Street car park where it will remain at 3 hours.
