Looking for simple steps towards a healthy lifestyle? Come and join our Run England running sessions designed for any age, shape or ability.

Contact the group leaders directly if you’re interested in joining one of the groups or coming along to a session. To join a group you’ll need to bring a completed Run England disclaimer form.


AthleFIT is a programme of accessible, non-competitive fitness sessions based upon athletics from England Athletics. Contact: Kevin King at or call: 07454018411. Sessions last 1 hour.

GoodGym Hackney

Every Tuesday, 6.45pm, E5 Bakery, 395 Mentmore Terrace, E8 3PH

Get fit by doing good with GoodGym. We combine regular exercise with helping our communities, running as a group every week and helping local community organisations with large physical tasks like gardening or shifting soil. Run starts at 7pm. For more information see GoodGym – Hackney.

Hackney Hurricanes Athletics Club

Hackney Marshes park run

Every Saturday, 8.45am, Hackney Marshes Centre, Homerton Road, E9 5PF

A 5km for people of all abilities. We’ll time your run so you can monitor your progress as the weeks go by. For more information please contact Hackney Parkrun. Free.

London Fields junior park run

A 2km walk, jog or run for 4-14 year olds. We time you so you can see how you do each week. Meet us every Sunday near the London Fields Lido at 8.45am for a warm up. Run starts 9am. Contact for further information.

Run Dem Crew

Run starts at 7pm. Run Dem Crew is a collective of over 100 people with a passion for running and exchanging ideas. Ideal whether you’re a marathon veteran or taking your first steps towards your first race. Runs are split into 5 groups according to fitness and pace.
