Looking for simple steps towards a healthy lifestyle? Come and join a local running group, a great way to improve fitness and meet new people.

Come Run with Me in Hackney
Aimed at beginners and intermediate runners who want to train with others for fun and motivation, or train for races such as the Hackney Half Marathon.
Sessions vary each week, and are designed to improve your aerobic endurance and running fitness in general, and focus on efficient running technique.
Sessions are led by an athletics/running fitness coach experienced in leading mixed ability groups:
- Tuesdays 6.45-7.45pm – meet at Princess of Wales Pub, Clapton, E5 – all levels
- Wednesdays 7.45- 8.45am – meet at Hackney Town Hall steps, E8 – all levels
- Sundays 9.30-11am – meet London Fields, at the table tennis table south of London Fields, near Broadway Market, E8

GoodGym Hackney
Every Tuesday, 6.45pm, E5 Bakery, 395 Mentmore Terrace, E8 3PH
Get fit by doing good with GoodGym. We combine regular exercise with helping our communities, running as a group every week and helping local community organisations with large physical tasks like gardening or shifting soil. Run starts at 7pm. For more information see GoodGym – Hackney.
Hackney Marshes park run
Every Saturday, 8.45am, Hackney Marshes Centre, Homerton Road, E9 5PF
A 5km for people of all abilities. We’ll time your run so you can monitor your progress as the weeks go by. For more information please contact Hackney Parkrun. Free.
London Fields junior park run
A 2km walk, jog or run for 4-14 year olds. We time you so you can see how you do each week. Meet us every Sunday near the London Fields Lido at 8.45am for a warm up. Run starts 9am. Contact londonfields-juniorsoffice@parkrun.com for further information.
