Film parking vouchers

Vouchers are open to film and photographic production companies working in the borough.

Approval from the film office

Before placing an application for film vouchers, you must contact us to discuss your requirements first (using the contact details below). If your requirements are agreed you will be directed back to this page to place an online application.

Film vouchers for parking on a street

On-street film vouchers let you to park:

• in resident, shared-use, business, permit holder and pay-and-display bays
• on single yellow lines

You cannot use them to park:

• in suspended, disabled and car club bays
• in private parking areas
• where loading restrictions apply
• on housing estates
• on red routes
• on double yellow lines (unless you have permission from the film office)

Film vouchers for parking on an estate

Estate film vouchers let you to park:

• in parking spaces on estates managed by Hackney Parking Services

You cannot use them to park:

• on private housing estates
• in suspended, disabled and car club bays
• where loading restrictions apply
• in on-street parking spaces
• on double yellow lines (unless you have permission from the film office)

We review applications for film vouchers on estates on a case-by-case basis.

We will not give you permission to park on an estate if:

• parking on the estate would become too crowded (over 70% full)
• it would cause health and safety issues
• you can park on the street instead

If we refuse your request to park on an estate, you may need to apply for an on-street film voucher instead.

• public liability insurance and shoot details of all productions
• an email address
• a debit or credit card – all film vouchers need to be paid for at the point of application

• all film voucher applications are subject to approval
• if your application is successful, you’ll need to arrange a collection time with us
• if your application is unsuccessful, we’ll contact you with recommended amendments
