Underwood conservation area

Underwood conservation area was designated in 1990, and is a fine group of nineteenth century warehouses and other important historic buildings, such as the Eagle Tavern. The rectangular street layout derives from the historical pattern of paths following the layout of the walled gardens which used to occupy the area prior to its development.
