Making changes to your property
Find out what you need to do if you want to make changes to your leasehold or freehold property or garden.
Before you make changes
Before you make changes you must:
- get written permission from us
- have no arrears on your service charge account
Example of changes that need permission
Examples of changes that need our permission include, but are not limited to:
- installing a new boiler
- laying hardwood, laminate or ceramic flooring
- removing internal walls
Some changes may also need other permissions. For example, planning permission or building control approval.

To apply for permission to make improvements to your home or garden, complete our alterations to dwelling form.
