We work in partnership with landlords across the UK to help Hackney residents find homes. So if you’re a landlord, we can help find you a tenant.
We don’t charge admin fees and we have a large database of families, couples and single people who are ready to move to homes across the UK.

How the scheme works
We operate a matching service that matches prospective tenants with landlords looking to let their properties. This allows us to help families who need to find a home.
As a landlord, you can meet and approve prospective tenants. You also keep responsibility for managing your property.
Benefits of letting your property through us
You benefit from a financial incentive and receive the full rental earnings.
We offer financial incentives to encourage landlords to work with us. The amount we can offer depends on the size and condition of the property you want to let.
The rent you charge your tenant should be no higher than the government’s Local Housing Allowance rate. These rates vary across the UK and reflect the local rents charged in different areas. All our tenants:
- go through affordability checks
- can provide rent in advance
- go through pre-tenancy training
Our tenants are pre-screened, understand their commitments, and will take care of your property.
We assign you a dedicated officer to deal with your enquiries and provide you with a free property inspection. We aim to provide you with a hassle-free experience.
We don’t charge any fees for our service, so you’ll receive significant savings when compared to typical letting agency fees.
Our requirements
We ask that you:
- rent your property for at least 12 months on an Assured Shorthold tenancy with no break clause
- follow the government’s normal landlord obligations and responsibilities, see GOV.UK – Renting out your property
Your property should be:
- ready to let
- unfurnished
- covered by appropriate insurance
- in good condition and meet our minimum standards, see Minimum standards for private landlords (google doc)
