Kit Crowley Gardens
Kit Crowley Gardens is a small and very attractive garden in E9. The garden dates from the 1850s and is protected under the London Squares Preservation Act of 1931.
The park holds a Green Flag award. The awards are given to the best green spaces in the country and are awarded each year to make sure the quality of the green space remains high.

Cassland Road Gardens renamed ‘Kit Crowley Gardens’
Cassland Road Gardens was renamed Kit Crowley Gardens in July 2021. This was the first action taken by the Review, Rename, Reclaim project, which is the name given to the Council’s review into the legacies of African enslavement history and colonialism in the borough.
A public consultation was held between 22 February and 11 April 2021 during which time over 600 local residents and park users voted for the new name. Read more about the renaming.

Barbecues are not allowed in Kit Crowley Gardens.
Dogs
