The Cycle Hub at Hackney Central Overground station opened in July 2022 and is located on Graham Road.
It’s a convenient and secure option for you to store your bike while using rail services. A great solution to help you build cycling into your commute.

Frequently asked questions for Cycle Hub renters
Membership of the Hackney Central Station Cycle Hub costs £60 per year.
You’ll pay the yearly membership fee upfront when you register at Falco.
It is not possible to pay by direct debit.
Cycle Hub membership is only available for year-long periods.
We’ll notify you at least 14 days before the end of the Initial Term explaining that your Initial Term is coming to an end and asking you if you wish to continue the service for a further 12 months. If you decide to continue with the service within this time, we’ll continue to provide the service to you, payment will be taken, and your contract will be renewed for a further 12 months.
No. Every bike stored in our hubs must be registered to separate memberships
You can’t store them both in the hub at the same time. This helps us ensure there are enough spaces for all our users.
No. There is no guarantee of a space.
Hub members benefit from secure storage, with CCTV and a magnetic door locking system, when they leave their bike at the station. This greater level of security provides peace of mind and the added flexibility to your journey of being able to leave a bike securely overnight.
You can only leave your bike in a hub for 48 hours.The hub is meant for short term, daily cycle parking.
We will monitor the hub by members and reserve the right to remove abandoned cycles following a warning period during which a warning notice will be placed on the cycle requesting that the cycle be removed from its current position.
The property owner is not entitled to any compensation for any damage caused to the removed property that may occur as a result of its removal. Owners of removed bicycles must email move.greener@hackney.gov.uk within 3 months to reclaim their bicycle. Within three months of removal, ownership will vest in Hackney Council and the removed items will be disposed of.
You must lock your bike within the hub. Lock the frame and both wheels in a space using two good quality locks or robust chains. All items in the hub are left entirely at your own risk. We recommend that you secure your bicycle using two different high quality locks locking each of the front wheel and frame of your bicycle and the rear wheel and frame of your bicycle into the rack when leaving it in the hub.
We also ask all our members to use the hubs responsibly and to not allow anyone to tailgate you when using the hub.
No. Your bike is left in our hubs at your own risk and under your responsibility. We recommend taking out insurance to cover your bike in the event of theft or damage.
The two tier cycle racks are not suitable for parking cargo bikes or adapted bicycles. There are 5 cycle stands located outside the Cycle Hub which can be used by all types of bicycles.
No. Motorbikes and mopeds are not allowed to be stored in the Station Cycle Hub.

You will have access to the Cycle Hub at the times that Hackney Central Station is open.

In the event of an emergency there is an internal override escape button for the door of the cycle hub, to allow exit in the event of a power failure to the door.
