Find support services

Find support services displays voluntary and community organisations offering help to Hackney’s diverse community, especially to those who are affected by coronavirus.

If you need help using the Internet then you can watch a video of how to use the map and follow along with a transcript. You may also find our Digital skills page useful.

Sign up to be listed on the map, see if you’re eligible for a grant and if you would like support to improve or create your online presence, please refer to our digital guide.

Get involved

Support residents, particularly those who are vulnerable, disadvantaged or disengaged, by joining your local community network. Additionally, Hackney residents have set up ‘Mutual Aid’ groups on Whatsapp and Facebook to help respond to the crisis. Read our advice on safe volunteering and helping.

Find support services during coronavirus

Organisations have switched to telephone or online support during Covid-19 and are offering help on keeping fit; gardening, music and other classes; food and shopping; stopping smoking; families and caring; anxiety and loneliness; as well as advice about employment, benefits, money, addiction and domestic abuse.

We are in regular contact with all organisations listed but please check their social media and websites for details.

You can also find out about health and wellbeing services in the neighbouring borough of City of London.
