Registered tenants and residents associations (TRAs) and over 50s groups can use our community halls for free for meetings and activities open to the whole estate or membership.
Availability
Our halls are available for hire Monday to Sunday throughout the year and most can be hired between 9am and 11pm.
A few of our halls are available for hire earlier in the morning – for example the venues we often use for weddings and parties can be opened earlier to allow you to set up.
Some of our halls are not available for evening hire due to noise restrictions, for example those located very close to residential housing.
Let us know your requirements, so we can find the right hall for your event.
Accessibility
We now have 24 community halls across Hackney that meet the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) standards for accessible venues. This means there’s level access to all the buildings and accessible toilets.
If you have any accessibility requirements, please contact us and we can discuss the most suitable venues with you.
Facilities
Our halls are different sizes and can be hired for small events for fewer than 10 people, up to large events for 150 people. All our halls have chairs and tables to match the venue capacity along with a full kitchen or kitchenette.
Well located within Hackney, our halls have a range of facilities to suit different needs. We have halls with stages, breakout rooms, sound systems, projectors, wifi, outdoor space and storage for long term users.
Let us know what facilities you’re looking for and we can help you find the right hall for you.
