Charles Square

Charles Square is a short walk from Old Street and south of Shoreditch Park. It’s located in a quiet residential area and is covered by large trees.

It was completed in 1770, at which time it was described as ‘set with greens, plants, fruit and other trees’. None of the original features or surrounding buildings remain except for No 16, a Georgian townhouse.
