There are public off-street car parks in Hackney Central, Dalston and Stoke Newington town centres which are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
We charge to park in these car parks Monday to Saturday 7am to 7pm with the exception of the Amhurst Road car park which is Monday to Saturday 7am to 11pm. Outside of these hours it’s free to park. All of the Council’s car parks are free on Sundays and bank holidays.
Pay and display
A valid pay and display ticket must be purchased and clearly displayed upon arrival. You must not stay beyond the maximum permitted time for each car park, as specified on the pay and display machines and on the tariff boards.
All of the pay and display machines accept coins. Please note it is an offence to transfer pay and display tickets between vehicles or car parks.
Pay by phone
You can also make a credit or debit card payment using your mobile phone. Visit mobile phone parking for more information.
