Where you can park with a blue badge
From 2 March 2026, Blue Badge holders can park in permit-only bays in Hackney as part of a new trial.
The trial will run for at least 6 months and can last up to 18 months.
This change is being introduced as an Experimental Traffic Order (TT1888). This means it’s temporary, so we can see how the new parking arrangement works and hear your feedback.
After the first 6 months, we’ll review the trial and decide whether to continue it, make changes or end it.

Housing estates
Dedicated shared use motorcycle bay
