The community insight group includes partners from the statutory sector, community networks and the voluntary and community sector, and oversees Team Hackney's work to gain insight into our communities by bringing together views and perspectives from residents, service users, businesses and the voluntary sector.
The group reviews insight gathered through community networks, meetings, engagement events and surveys, informing the Team Hackney partnership and the annual State of the Borough report. It also identifies gaps in insight and looks for ways to address them. The group meets at least four times a year and is in the process of finalising their first work plan.

Community dialogue project
Local partners involved in the Team Hackney community insight group are currently running a community dialogue project on the topic of growth, change and cohesion in Hackney. 12 community organisations have been awarded a small grant to involve residents in conversations and activities on this theme.Hackney CVS is managing the community dialogue grants awards.
Team Hackney will then use the materials and the intelligence they gather at our annual partnership meeting this Summer. For more information about this project contact Deji Adeoshun at Hackney CVS or Rachel Duke at the Council.
